Blockader crowd control barricades helped direct pedestrian traffic during the October 22 live taping of a QVC television program, followed by a concert, at Whiskey River, the Charlotte, North Carolina nightclub owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Sixty interlocking steel barriers were set up in a straight line inside the restaurant to direct patrons and keep the crowd away from the stage area. Approximately 500 attendees watched the taping of the “QVC Race Show” which was followed by a concert featuring country music star Blake Shelton.
Blockader barriers had also been utilized in the same manner during a similar QVC program taping at Whiskey River in March 2009.
